At MEF IS, learning is authentic, creative, and collaborative. MEF IS has an established record of service learning projects. Students learn ways to contribute positively to the lives of others in order to shape the world.

We are an IB World School and offer the Diploma Programme.  In the IB Diploma Programme, CAS (Creativity, Activity, Service) is a requirement of the IB Diploma, so a CAS program is in the process of being established in the high school. Students balance their CAS experiences between three categories: creativity, activity and service by participating in activities in each of these three areas. Students participate in creative endeavors (‘C’), physical activities (‘A’), and service activities (‘S’). According to the IB, the purpose of the CAS programme is to develop strengths and weaknesses, build skills, learn how to plan, show determination, collaborate effectively, engage in global issues, and to consider ethics while making choices.
