Technology

At MEF International School, we believe technology is a vehicle for collaboration and communication as well as a tool for creation and demonstration of student learning. A major goal is to help our students become responsible digital citizens.

Our technological infrastructure includes interactive whiteboards, iPads and a range of Microsoft and Google programmes to enable the whole community to be productive and connected. We also have two ICT labs where Primary and Lower Secondary have designated times for each class to use.

We will be implementing a ‘Bring Your Own Device’ (BYOD) program in the 2021-22 academic year so that our middle and high school students can fully benefit from the use of technology as a learning agent.  Please note that a computer is fully required in high school.  Please view the outline of our plan below, which provides an outline for this and next year.

BYOD Program Requirements:

High School – Mandatory – Laptop Computer

Middle School – Recommended – iPad/Tablet/Laptop Computer

Primary School – No requirements
