Within the outdoor adventurous unit, our students in Year 1 developed their hiding and finding skills through role play. Our students took turns being chickens laying eggs and farmers collecting and taking the eggs to the market. Our students were then given the challenge of making as much money as they could from the sale of their eggs. Each coloured egg was given a value and students as fast as they could collected as many eggs as possible to sell at the market. Our students then counted in 2s, 5s and 10s to count up how much money they had earned.
