Our Grade 1 students have started learning and thinking about measuring. The children worked as a team to find out how long the swirly line is. They were risk takers and creative thinkers when talking about ways and tools they could use to solve the problem. There were some great ideas and interesting conversations. After some reflection the children decided they needed to practise how to use a ruler.
