The College Counseling Department assists students and parents at MEF International School and MEF National School maneuver their way through the international university admission process. The goal is to help students gain admission to the colleges and universities that best suit their ambitions and aspirations anywhere in the world. In addition to college preparation, the college counselors give assistance to students with career planning.
Guidance and support is provided with the research, application completion, and decision-making process, as well as giving information about external tests (SAT/ACT/IELTS/TOEFL). The college counselors liaise with universities and colleges, arranging visits to the MEF campus with admissions and recruitment representatives. Students and parents receive regular newsletters and other communications from the College Counseling Department.
The college counselors arrange meetings with students in Grades 9-12, and meet with students in other secondary grades by request. All high school students are encouraged to visit the College Counseling Department, located on the top floor of MEF International School, to browse the reading materials, take brochures, or to arrange an appointment.
