At MEF International Schools, Istanbul, our Grade 3 students proudly shared their learning during their Celebration of Learning, marking the culmination of their Unit of Inquiry exploring how people use stories to explain the world, share culture, and express creativity. Throughout the unit, students explored traditional tales from different cultures and reflected on how stories can communicate beliefs, values, and perspectives.

During the celebration, they brought their learning to life through a short skit demonstrating how the story of Cinderella is told in different ways across cultures, and they proudly shared their own original stories inspired by the storytelling techniques they had studied. The celebration concluded with a joyful performance of A Million Dreams, highlighting the power of imagination and the courage to share one’s voice. It was wonderful to witness students expressing creativity, confidence, and a deep appreciation for storytelling.
