MEF IS Secondary Science Department organized a science week between Feb 7th and 11th to engage and inspire students with science. In this week, teachers of all science subjects (chemistry, biology, physics and environmental systems and societies) conducted fun and interesting experiments, in which students could participate during lunch breaks to truly enjoy science. Assist. Prof. Murat Hudaverdi from Yıldız Technical University gave two speeches to our students to feed their curiosity on “Space Technologies and Trash” and “Black Holes.” Moreover, students participated in a summary writing competition on a science video of their interest. Science was celebrated with great enjoyment and motivation by the students.
