At MEF International Schools, Istanbul, our Grade 5 students celebrated the culmination of their unit on Identity through a meaningful End of Unit Celebration. Throughout the unit, students explored how identity can be influenced by genetic inheritance, personal growth, and social connections.
During the celebration, it was wonderful to see how students demonstrated their understanding of identity, values, cultures, genetics, traits, and growth mindset through the artifacts they created for their friends in Grade 3.” Students shared how inheritance, learning experiences, and relationships shape who we are and how we see ourselves. The Identity Jungle Exhibition beautifully showcased students’ identity collages in an aesthetic and authentic way, highlighting the diversity and uniqueness within our learning community.
