Our Grade 1 students celebrated their growth as writers through a joyful Writing Celebration. After reflecting on the progress they had made in their writing, students helped plan how they would like to celebrate this important milestone in their learning journey. The celebration included reading, writing games, engaging activities, and certificates that recognized students’ efforts and achievements.
It was a wonderful opportunity for students to look back at how far they have come, take pride in their work, and share their excitement for writing with their classmates. Moments like these help students experience the joy of writing and begin to see themselves as confident young authors.
