Cambridge International Primary provides a curriculum framework for 5-11 year olds to develop skills, knowledge and understanding in the core subjects of English\/ESL, Mathematics and Science. Learners who follow the Cambridge International Primary curriculum can be assessed using the internally marked Cambridge Primary Progression Tests (Grades 2 to 5) and the externally marked Cambridge Primary Checkpoint (Grade 5 only), enabling attainment against international benchmarks to be measured. They test skills, knowledge and understanding from Stages 4\u20136 of the curriculum for English, English as a Second Language and mathematics, and Stages 3\u20136 of the curriculum for Science.<\/p>\n

Students build more than just a deep understanding of their subject. They also develop higher order thinking skills so that they can apply what they have learned. Cambridge students at MEF play an active role in the classroom. They are asked to think critically to learn how to construct an argument and evaluate evidence. They learn to work independently and to collaborate with one another to bring a project to a successful outcome. They are encouraged to develop an international outlook and become confident, global citizens.<\/p>\n
