Advanced (AS/A level)

Building on the skills acquired at IGCSE level, typically Year 12 students continue to study four subjects at AS (Advanced Subsidiary) level, and continue to A (Advanced) level in Year 13.

It is possible to sit some of the external examinations as staged entries over the two year period. For students transferring into MEFIS, an option to combine IGCSE and AS level course may be organized to accommodate different educational backgrounds and learning needs. Each AS or A level course is counted as two credits towards the final MEFIS graduation requirements and is scheduled for five hours a week.
