Students build on the knowledge, skills, and attitudes developed in grades 6-8 as they participate in a balanced selection of courses to prepare for the rigorous IB Diploma programme in grades 11 and 12. This allows students to take greater ownership of their learning, take intellectual risks with confidence, reflect on the process as well as the products of their learning, and adapt flexibly to new situations and new ways of thinking. Teachers strive to create authentic learning opportunities to help our students solidify their communication, collaboration, creativity, and critical thinking skills. At the end of grade 10, students take<\/span><a href=\"http:\/\/www.cambridgeinternational.org\/programmes-and-qualifications\/cambridge-secondary-2\/cambridge-igcse\/qualification\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> Cambridge IGCSE<\/span><\/a> <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">exams. Exams include written, oral, coursework, and alternative to practical assessment. IGCSE results provide eight internationally recognised grades, A* to G, which have clear guidelines that explain the standard of achievement for each grade.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">In grades 11 and 12, students continue their studies in one of two graduation tracks: the <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/ibo.org\/programmes\/diploma-programme\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IBDP)<\/span><\/a> <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">or IB Course Certificate route. Both options involve advanced two-year courses and provide excellent preparation for university study. During the final high school years, students are encouraged to think more about their post-secondary educational career paths.
