Children from preschool to Grade 2 have been participating in mindfulness and resilience activities even with their siblings; story, meditation, yoga, dance, and origami.
|

Some of our students have been learning the Ocarina while at home. It is nearly time to return it back to school so enjoy your last week of learning and please return it on one of our pick up, drop off days.

Grade 5 students presented their Exhibition to Grade 4 students, families and teachers last week. A tremendous effort was put in by our teachers and we thank our families for their support. Our lead teachers, Mr Craig, Ms Katie and Ms Mihaela were given flowers to thank them for leading our students to success.

Our Grade 5 Commencement Ceremony will take place Online this year on 12 June from 10 to 11 am.

|
Our Kindergarten students will have their Graduation Ceremony on 12 June from 11.30 to 12.15 pm. This is a very special occasion as children say goodbye to their Early Childhood years. |
|
Our Kindergarten parents are invited to a Transition to Grade 1 parent meeting on Monday 8th June 3.30-4.15pm. You will have an opportunity to hear from our Grade 1 teachers, Ms Karen and Ms Katrina. We hope you can join us. |

IB2 Students combined their passions for space and stories to create this gift for the MEF IS PS students. Please ask your child’s teacher to share the PDFs with you. They have enjoyed reading with and working with the children at MEF IS Primary school for the last couple of years as buddy readers and mother-tongue tutors. |

For their CAS Project, Coping With Quarantine 101, IB2 students compiled a wide range of activities that can be easily performed during this time to improve the lifestyle of MEFIS students by keeping busy and staying productive. |

Grade 9 art class culminated in digital drawings inspired by sweets and candies or Victorian bestiary inventions. The results are very inventive and show increased skills in using drawing software. |

Grade 10 art class continued their painting series from home practicing techniques in controlling color and value using special effects: spotlight (pictured here), split contrast, and fog effects. Fun and challenging! |
